  • Full name, email address, phone number, and ARN (AMFI Registration Number) when you create an account or contact us.
  • Payment information processed securely through Razorpay — we do not store your card details, UPI credentials, or bank account numbers on our servers.
  • Client data you input into our tools (such as SIP amounts, goal targets, scheme names, and calculated results) for the purpose of generating reports, projections, and analyses.
  • Feedback, support tickets, and correspondence you share with us.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Device information (browser type, operating system, screen resolution, device type).
  • IP address, approximate geolocation (country/city level), and time zone.
  • Pages visited, time spent on pages, click patterns, and navigation paths within MFDTools.in.
  • Referral source, search queries that led you to our platform, and campaign identifiers.

Information from Third Parties

  • Authentication data from Google or other social login providers if you choose to sign in via those services.
  • Payment confirmation and transaction status from Razorpay upon successful subscription.

2. How We Use Your Information

Core Service Delivery

  • To create, maintain, and secure your MFDTools.in account.
  • To provide, operate, and improve our 75+ calculators, analytics tools, scheme analysis modules, and reporting features.
  • To process your subscription payments and manage your billing cycle.
  • To generate, store, and allow you to download reports, projections, and client-facing documents.

Communication & Support

  • To send transactional emails: account verification, payment receipts, subscription renewal reminders, and security alerts.
  • To respond to your support queries, feedback, or feature requests.
  • To notify you about important platform changes, maintenance windows, or service disruptions.

Improvement & Analytics

  • To analyse usage patterns and improve tool accuracy, performance, and user experience.
  • To identify bugs, errors, and areas for new feature development.
  • To aggregate anonymised data for internal product decisions — this data cannot be traced back to any individual user.

We Do NOT Sell Your Data

  • MFDTools.in does not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise monetise your personal information or client data to any third party for their own marketing or commercial purposes.

  • Razorpay: Payment processing data is shared with Razorpay Payment Gateway as required to complete your subscription transactions. Razorpay is PCI DSS compliant.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Providers: Your data is stored on secure servers operated by our hosting providers (e.g., Vercel, and associated cloud services) under strict data processing agreements.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, court order, or government authority in India.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganisation, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction, with continued protection under this policy.
  • Protection of Rights: To protect the rights, property, or safety of MFDTools.in, our users, or the public.

  • Essential Cookies: Required for authentication, session management, and core platform functionality. These cannot be disabled without breaking the service.
  • Analytics Cookies: We may use privacy-respecting analytics tools (such as Plausible, Umami, or similar) that do not use cookies or track personal data — no personal data is shared with these services.

Your Control

  • You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling essential cookies may prevent the platform from functioning properly.

7. Data Retention

Active Account

  • We retain your personal information and platform data for as long as your account is active and your subscription is in force.

After Account Deletion or Expiry

  • If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information and client data from our active systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
  • Anonymised, aggregated usage data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytics purposes.
  • Payment records may be retained for a period required by applicable financial and tax regulations in India (typically 6–8 years).

  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal retention obligations.

  • Withdrawal of Consent: Withdraw consent for any processing based on consent (e.g., optional analytics cookies) at any time.

9. Children's Privacy

Not Intended for Minors

  • MFDTools.in is designed for use by adult professionals — specifically, AMFI-registered Mutual Fund Distributors, financial advisors, and wealth managers in India.
  • We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

How We Notify You

  • We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or platform features.
  • Material changes will be communicated via email to your registered address or through a prominent notice on the MFDTools.in platform at least 15 days before the changes take effect.
